This is a reminder that at least ½ of your dancer’s costume fee is due by Oct 15th. The balance would then be due by November 15th. Pictures of the chosen costumes will be in a book at the front desk the first part of December. We will begin doing measurements during class in the next couple weeks.
Please plan to pick up your popcorn and pizza orders on Wed Oct 24th from 6:30-7:15pm. If you are unable to make this date and time, you will need to make arrangements to have someone pick it up for you. Volunteers are needed to check in orders and help distribute. Volunteers are needed from 5:30-7:00.

If you participated in the fundraiser, your proceeds will be automatically credited to your account. These amounts will be available at the front desk by Oct 11th.
The music we have chosen to use for our recital in May will be posted in late October.
Parents will be invited into the classroom the last 10-15 minutes of class October 25th-30th. The dancers have prepared a special dance for you to watch! Dancers are invited to dress up for this special week. All costumes should be dancer friendly. Old dance costumes are a great option! Please, nothing too scary!

We have a group of dancers that will be dancing at the Timberwolves game on Jan 18. We have the option to purchase tickets at a discounted price. Check the flyers on the bulletin board for information.
We are looking for 30 dancers to perform in a tap production called “Brand New.” Dancers must be in 3rd grade or older with 2 years of tap experience. Practices will be 1-2 Saturdays each month beginning in November from 12-2. The number will be performed at 2-3 competitions depending upon progress. We are trying some additional fundraisers this year. On Oct 24th at 630, we will meet at the studio to pick up some cards with local coupons we can sell and we get to keep so much of the money. If you think you might be interested, please let me know. The guy who manages this program needs a rough estimate of how many people might be selling.
ADDITIONAL COMPETITION OPPORTUNITY!!
We just found out today that On Point National Dance Competition will be holding a competition in Becker on May 3-5. Because we have already committed to the other competition weekends, we will not be changing those weekends but would like to add this weekend. However, we will only register the groups that have 100% agreed to the additional costs. So, I need to know if you would like your group(Rising Starz, Starlights…), small group, solo, duet to compete at this 4th competition. All parents must agree before a group will be registered and if you tell me you do not want to do it, that will be kept confidential! The additional cost for competition fees if your groups decide to compete are:
